Maharani Gayathri Devi was vision of elegance, typically seen in elegantly draped simple chiffon saris, in soft shades of pastel, worn with modest, long-sleeved blouse and string of pearls adorning her neck… her style had captured my heart and I have locked this photograph of her in my memory, hoping to recreate it someday.
